Moments ago lived here a daisy blue
My eager eyes watched her beautiful, little stay.In my mind, her memories still shine bright;
And those simply refuse to fade away !!
One fine, misty morning she bloomed
Silently she woke; still nobody knew...
But as the day grew she got so bright !
And outshined the gleam of rays and sparkle of dew.
She filled the air with bursts of laughs
And, with the tiny birds, she chirped a song.
Splashing the air with joy and mirth
On a happy journey she took everybody along!
Stinking bugs hid under her petals
To escape the beaks of hungry birds.
Came Noon and the pain she felt;
Trampled under the feet of herds.
Yet, slowly and untiringly up she rose
Folding up petals above everything on the heath.
She thanked HIM for her crude beauty;
And prayed even for the blades of grass beneath...
Soon the daylight began to fade
And faster did the evening creep in...
She gave a final greet to the blowing breeze
Before blushing, bowing and eventually wilting...
Now I sob that I can see her no more.
Still in my heart she blossoms everyday!
So little time did she live
Just for that single day !
Yet she blessed and taught me to live
A short, little life but in a nice way........
