Let us all listen
To a short touching story.
Its about a little boy,
Who filled his life with so much worry !
A Chubby, rosy face he had;
But eyes full of tears...
He wore often a look so sad
And lived in a cocoon of fears.
Beautiful things so much he loved
Wanting good things never to end;
Never alone to God he bowed
Bcos on his side he always had--innocence as his best friend !
One special day, on his birthday
His father gifted him a beautiful flower
So much he liked it that
He gazed at it for a long hour...
A gaze it was - full of admiration !
Thanking God for such lovely creation.
But something was getting on - it was the lazy breeze
Who blew cool and made his eyelids close with ease.
The morning sun woke him up
But what he saw made him feel so bad
There lay the flower on the table - helpless, wilted and dried;
He wept bad with eyes so sad, then buried the flower and again he cried....
Resting in Papa's arms, he continued to sob
And cursed himself for that which he didn't do !
But for the flowers certainly he left something behind....
Those were his tears and Yes ! those were true !!!
Days passed and soon the incident he luckily forgot
But one sunny day something made him stop a while at the same spot.
Suddenly he stooped and watched with eyes keen
Almost in disbelief rubbed his eyes n jumped in joy for what he had just seen !
He saw a tiny seedling sprout from the earth's heart;
So happy he was that the entire day smilingly he drove his never-stopping cart...
What made the flower seeds so fast grow ?
Was it the drizzle or the tears? we care not know
But lets share his joy together and forget all that for a while...
Because his eyes had got back their sparkle !
And his cheeks got a beautiful reason again to wear a smile !!!
